How Do I Scan The Wireless Near Field Communication (NFC) Tag in My BACtrack?
How to Use NFC for Android Devices:
Ensure NFC is enabled: Most smartphones already have NFC enabled, but if you have an older device, you may need to go to your device's settings and turn on NFC. On Android devices, the NFC antenna is usually located on the back of the smartphone, but the exact location can vary.
Align devices: Turn your BACtrack over and slowly bring the back of the device towards the back of your smartphone. Gently ‘tap’ and hold the breathalyzer to the smartphone (Note: it can take up to 10 seconds to read the tag). If your phone does not detect the NFC tag right away, you can slowly move the BACtrack in a small circle until the tag is read.
Tap the link on your phone: Once your phone reads the NFC tag inside the BACtrack, a link will pop up on your screen. Tap the link to learn about your BAC result, how to correctly use your BACtrack and much more!
